We have Government-backed training programmes for both school leavers and post grads, which are designed to give you a taste of all aspects of accountancy work and will help you develop whatever specialisms you choose; be it tax, accounts, or audit. If you are leaving university and are looking to fast track your career, we have the perfect programme. With a highly competitive starting salary and Government-backed training, at Richardson Swift you can quickly accelerate from rookie to expert, increasing your salary expectations along the way. You'll start off spending time in each of our departments: accounts, tax, and audit. This will give you a proper flavour of the type of work and clients you'll be involved with. At the end of that time we'll support you to choose a specialism so you can tailor your qualifications to suit your longer term goals.

Our school leaver training programme - applications now closed.

Starting in September each year, our accounting & tax apprenticeships give you the opportunity to work in a finance role and earn, while studying for your chosen qualification. They are open to anyone of 16 years or over as long as you are no longer in full-time education and have lived in UK or the European Economic Area for over 3 years.
They are a great way to start your career. You’ll learn from experienced colleagues, gain practical skills, and achieve qualifications that will make you highly employable around the world.
